Space Exploration IP
This in-depth workshop will provide girls with a hands-on adventure into the night sky. Participants will research astronomical phenomena and learn to use a star map. They will determine whether the myths behind the constellations are fact or fiction and write their own time-travel trip through space. The girls will view the stars and planets using high-powered telescopes, and even make their own working telescope! This workshop completes all requirements for the Space Exploration Interest Project including the Service Project.
